How to Operate Your Furniture

Good to Know:
  • This video will show you how to operate manual recliners, power recliners, power recliners with headrest and lumbar support and elevate chairs.
  • Manual recliner furniture uses a combination of a balanced mechanism and your body weight to operate.
  • G Plan power recliner furniture can be operated by two buttons on the sofa/chair.
  • DO NOT push the excess cable under your power recliner furniture. This will trap it in the mechanism and shear the cable.
  • DO NOT use the recliner mechanism as a seat, as this can damage the mechanism itself.
How to Adjust and Dress Your Furniture

Good to Know:
  • Regular dressing of your furniture should be carried out to ensure it remains in good condition.
  • If your furniture has reversible cushions, they should be plumped, turned and rotated regularly.
  • If your furniture has loose cushions, they should be plumped  with a minimum of six plumps (3 front and back).
  • Chenille and velvet-style fabrics may change appearance after use, due to the pile of the fabric moving in different directions.
Cable management and battery power packs

Good to Know:
  • This video will demonstrate cable management for elevate chairs, single and double power recliners.
  • Please note: Recliner furniture with headrest/lumbar functionality will require two rechargeable power packs.
  • Ensure you have all the contents listed on the instructions inside the pack. Please keep the instructions for future use.
  • We recommend that you recharge the battery power pack on a weekly basis, if the battery power pack is used daily.
