Design and Development

Our design and development department is an innovative and dynamic team who ensure every detail of a G Plan sofa is perfect. If you enjoy a fast-paced and creative working environment then Design and Development at G Plan is a highly rewarding and varied place to work. We employ highly skilled people into roles including – Furniture Designer, Frame CAD Technician, Development Sewing Machinist, Development Upholsterer and Gerber CAD Operator.

Craftsmanship

Our team of talented craftsmen and women lovingly produce every sofa and chair by hand to order. We have a state of the art factory at our Melksham head office employing over 250 employees in roles as diverse as Quality Inspection, Frame Assembly and Skilled Upholstery. If you possess a desire to ensure every G Plan sofa meets our exacting quality standards then you will thrive in our dynamic Production teams.

Commercial

Our Commercial team works closely with our Design, Development and Craftsmanship colleagues. With a focus on delivering the highest quality products and service to both our end consumers and trade customers, commercial roles ensure a dynamic progression of the G Plan brand. Typical roles can be found in our Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, IT, Transport and Finance teams.
