Inspiration February 18, 2025 Back for more inspiration Laurie get the look Check out our brand-new Laurie. Plush, sophisticated and suave. Laurie looks stunning in any room, however we know it can be daunting when trying to style a new room. Here’s a step by step guide to getting one of our favourite Laurie looks: The Sofa For this room, we used our 3 Seater Laurie in our Peak Glacier Fabric. The calming neutral tones of this Fabric make for a great relaxing Sofa centrepiece, and the chevron-esque texture is perfect for adding dimension. The Scatter Cushions Scatter Cushions are a small accent but they make a huge difference to a room. For this look, we’ve used Scatters in our Topiary Frost Fabric. We love the way the greys tie in with the Sofa! The Throw A creamy wool throw, adds to the cosy atmosphere of this room. It’s a must to snuggle into for those chilly, wintery evenings in front of the TV. We love this one from Dunelm! The Side Table For this look we went with a lighter wood table, to emulate a soft rustic feel. And, there’s no handier place to put your drinks and snacks whilst you’re having downtime than right next to you. This one from Wayfair is perfect and cost-effective. The Lamp Every room needs good lighting! A lamp next to the Sofa is perfect for those evenings spent huddled up with a book. Luckily, practicality and style melt into one in this lamp from M&S. The statement, vintage-style lamp, makes a big impact against the soft backdrop of the rest of the room. The Basket The key to keeping your home tidy is to have ample storage! If that storage is also stylish… Win win. We love this wicker storage basket from John Lewis. The wicker adds to the cosy rustic styling and the basket is deep enough to squirrel away throws, trinkets and any other clutter. The Plant Who doesn’t love a touch of green! Plants breath life into a space, and are the perfect finishing touch to a room. Peace Lillies are a great Living Room plant, they are beautiful and low maintenance. This one from Next is a great option. Pair it with this plant pot, to tie in the whites. So, there you have it. Our guide to recreating this Laurie look at home!
