New Trend: Get Going With Greige
We’re delighted to introduce a new selection of stylish sofa fabrics, inspired by the colours and textures of nature. Warm, understated and mellow, soft greige tones draw you in, for a space that is fresh and welcoming.
Grey has ruled the interiors agenda for a while now; it’s a versatile colour that offers a modern edge over Magnolia. However the warmer hues of Greige (greys with hints of brown) are swiftly becoming a popular option. If you’re after a clean, modern look you can’t go wrong with this new neutral. It might not be in the English dictionary (yet!), but this colour scheme is one we’re sure you’ll want to come home to.
We’ve matched our favourite fabrics in the G Plan range with complementary shades from the neutral colour palette of Dorset-based paint company Farrow and Ball, to show you how to bring a relaxed, intimate style to your living space.
New to the range, Union is available in three gorgeous colourways including Rose, Dove and Pebble. Our favourite matches from Farrow and Ball include Hardwick White, Dimity and Lamp Room Gray. Keep your room cosy by incorporating texture with a chunky knit throw, deep pile rug and soft scatter cushions.
Blush, Chalk and Linen are three beautiful shades of Lydia that look fabulous with Farrow and Ball paints Cornforth White, Light Gray and Shaded White. Style with dark wooden floorboards and rustic accessories for a relaxed, country house feel.
If you’re after something with a bit of texture, our new fabric Tango is the perfect choice and comes in muted shades of Ice, Powder and Chalk. We love Farrow and Ball paint colours Down Pipe and Calluna which sit perfectly these fabrics.
Victoria is one of our most popular sofa fabrics. We particularly like the understated grey colourways including Pebble, Linen and Grey. For the walls, opt for Light Gray or Ammonite by Farrow and Ball to achieve a look that’s clean, but also warm and welcoming. Incorporate natural wood, pale grey and white accessories for a scandi-inspired feel.
If you’re after something calm and contemporary opt for Mesh in Taupe, Stone, Linen or the new Chalk colourway. We really like soothing shades of Purbeck Stone and Pavilion Gray from Farrow and Ball to complement a sofa or armchair in Mesh. Bring a feature colour to life against a neutral scheme by painting a single wall, furniture item or woodwork in a stronger colour.
Hopsack is soft and inviting to touch and comes in shades of Pebble, Chalk and Grey. Farrow and Ball paint colours Purbeck Stone and Cornforth White are the perfect match for a sofa in any of these fabrics and will help you achieve a laid back ambience in your living space.
Get going with greige! With a wide range of greige tones in the G Plan fabric range, you’re sure to find a shade that suits your style and your space. Match with a complementary paint colour from Farrow and Ball and you’ll achieve a tied together look and a room you can truly relax in.
