A great opportunity has arisen to join an iconic British brand and a dynamic team with big plans!

We are looking for a Trainee ERP Administrator to join our G Plan Design and Development team at this exciting time of growth.

We’ve been around since 1953, so we know a lot about making the perfect sofa – but we certainly don’t just sit back and rest on our laurels. We strive to improve at every opportunity, driving the business forward and evolving the brand. We are guardians of our heritage but embrace the very latest in technology and innovation.

As a key member of our Development function, you will work alongside your operational and commercial colleagues in our purpose-built Wiltshire head office and manufacturing facility. The heart of the organisation, this is where we proudly hand-make every single G Plan sofa and chair. A G Plan sofa is an investment piece and our consumers know they are buying a sofa designed with the values of enduring comfort and quality at its core.

Reporting to the Design and Development Manager you will work with our experienced team members to learn how to create, test and maintain accurate Bills of Materials within Microsoft AX Dynamics.

Key skills required within this role are:

  • Previous experience with using an ERP system, or work experience within an IT setting.
  • IT literacy, specifically advanced level capability within Excel.
  • Numeracy skills and the ability to work with complex data structures
  • Ability to multitask whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Used to working to tight deadlines.
  • Pro-active self-starter who enjoys taking initiative.
  • Enthusiastic, positive team player who demonstrates flexibility.

Hours of work are 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 7:00 am – 12:00 noon Friday.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and a range of benefits including 24 days annual leave plus public holidays, company sick pay scheme, company pension scheme and life assurance, cycle to work scheme and staff purchase scheme.
